After Kennedy was killed, CIA chief Richard Helms put John Moss Whitten in charge of the CIA’s internal investigation of the assassination, which probably goes to show how little knowledge had seeped into the agency outside Miami.
Whitten was doing a good job, despite being initially swamped by a blizzard of crackpot material provided by the FBI. If you want to understand why so much crazy material appears immediately after an event like JFK or 9/11, just realize it’s manufactured as chaff to be tossed out of a jet shaking off a heat-seeking missile. But once Whitten spoke to Win Scott, CIA chief in Mexico, who had been conducting his own secret investigation, he realized CIA files on Oswald were being withheld by Helms and Angleton.
Whitten’s investigation was narrowing down to the CIA’s anti-Cuban office in Miami known as JM/WAVE. The key figures posted there were Ted Shackley, David Morales, George Joannides, Rip Robertson, Thomas Klines and William K. Harvey. In fact, Harvey had been put in charge of the “Executive Action” program for the assassination of foreign heads of state. But JFK ordered that program halted and was furious when Harvey kept moving forward with terror operations against Cuba, so he ordered Harvey sacked. Instead, Angleton quietly moved Harvey to Italy, while his team re-assembled for a new target: JFK.
Funny how just when Whitten started figuring out what happened, Helms took him off the project and arm-chaired him out of the picture. And guess who replaced Whitten? Why, James Angleton, of course. Now watch the dead bodies pile up around Angleton, starting with Win Scott.
Funny how George Joannides was brought out of retirement to act as the CIA’s liason with the Congressional investigation? But you can probably understand why they keep putting the fox in charge of the hen house when it comes to this story.
You know Sam Giancana got whacked while alone with someone he trusted, making breakfast when he got a unexpected bullet in the back of his skull. According to some highly placed CIA officials, the shooter was William K. Harvey, who would have been covering his tracks on the Kennedy killing.
After Giancana was gone, Roselli lost his power base and fled to Florida seeking refuge with the Trafficante organization. Before long, however, he wound up diced up in little pieces in a barrel in Biscayne Bay, but in his case the CIA may have just hired some Sicilian men of honor to handle that messy assignment, as I just can’t imagine Harvey cutting up his good buddy Handsome Johnny like that.
One of the more interesting JFK books is an autobiography of Chauncey Holt, who claims to have been Meyer Lanksy’s accountant, forger and occasional pilot. Holt managed to outlive his gangster and CIA associates, which is why he was able to tell his story eventually. You might recognize him as one of the three “tramps” photographed in Dallas that fateful November day fifty years ago.
The other two photographed with him in the Plaza have since been identified Charles Harrelson (Woody’s dad) and Charles Rogers, although when the photos first surfaced, a huge effort was made to ID Holt and Harrelson as Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis. It was actually James Angleton, head of CIA counterintelligence who planted the story Hunt was in Dallas that day, which was true, although Hunt seems to have had little idea what was going down. He was a propaganda expert who may have been placed in Dallas as a diversion, as the Plaza was filled with spooks and gangsters, most of whom had zero idea the President was about to be killed. See, spooks and gangsters often play their games with little background information or just a made-up cover story. Everything is done on intel rules: “need to know” basis, with most not knowing much of anything, except you do what the bosses say or face the unhappy consequences.
Organized crime and the intelligence agencies work hand in glove and the corruption of our political system is worse than you ever imagined. Holt was a lifelong criminal and he makes no excuses for his behavior. He does, however, provide an important window on the assassination.
I know Johnny Roselli was one of the shooters because Roselli confessed many times to multiple people. The other two shooters, however, may have been James Files and Charles Nicoletti, although there were multiple professional assassins in Dealey Plaza that day. Of course, the number-one suspect for the on-site team leader and a possible shooter has to be William Harvey because he was working closely with Roselli on assassinating Castro, a plot that was diverted to JFK after the oligarchy lost confidence in JFK as he was “changing too fast.” Many in the CIA believed Harvey took the kill shot.
Apparently, after Mary Meyer gave JFK some LSD for one of the lovemaking sessions, Kennedy decided to join her mission to manifest world peace and he began learning the strings of power to aid in his mission. No doubt, the military industrial complex became quite alarmed by this unexpected turn of events as they viewed JFK as little more than a chronic womanizer who stole lines from President Lincoln for use in his best speeches.
Holt, like most of organized crime, did not like Kennedy and felt he had betrayed their cause after they helped him steal an election from Nixon, something that mostly happened in Chicago. While attacking Carlos Marcello and Jimmy Hoffa through his brother Robert, JFK was also trading secret messages with Sam Giancana through their mutual mistress. It certainly would be interesting to know what was in those messages they traded as Giancana would soon be involved in assisting the assassination effort, sending his three best hit men to Dallas.
Although Holt died in 1997, long before this book was published, he did participate in a documentary available on YouTube that is worth watching. Like many involved, Holt did not come to Dallas realizing they were going to assassinate the President. Even among the spooks and gangsters at the scene there was confusion as to what had actually gone down and who’s secret agent(s) had done the shooting.
Paul Anka’s new tell-all book My Way finally arrived. I was hoping this memoir might shed some light on the Sicilian men of honor society since Anka was the youngest member of Sinatra’s Las Vegas ratpack who ruled Vegas throughout the sixties and seventies. The book does not disappoint. In fact, the foreword includes a few paragraphs on Johnny Roselli, who was running Las Vegas for the Chicago family when Anka arrived there as a teenager. Anka says “Handsome Johnny” was working for Frank Costello and Meyer Lansky, but far as I know, he started out doing hits for the Chicago outfit and may have even been the trigger man for the St. Valentine’s day massacre which permanently rearranged the power structure in Chicago.
I have a strange connection to Roselli as he frequently came to my hometown to visit one of his favorite mistresses, the owner of the local newspaper, where I worked on the weekends while in high school, hanging up the UPI and AP tapes that were used to automatically set type. Initially, Roselli was moved out to Hollywood, but after Bugsy Siegal invented Las Vegas, he soon shifted his base of operations there. Anka says Casino is probably the closest movie to the truth about Vegas, but even in that movie the violence is exaggerated for theatrical effect. Roselli and his friends were actually the best-dressed, most well-mannered people in Vegas, and any problems that arose for them were usually dealt with very quietly and behind the scenes.
In fact, the rat pack may have picked up some of its style from Roselli and his pals because they always dressed to the nines. It was Roselli who got Marilyn Monroe her first movie deal, by the way, which is why she owed the Chicago family big time, and why she had affairs with Sam Giancana, Roselli’s boss.
There are many revelations in this book, but one of the biggest is Sinatra actually liked smoking pot? Anka doesn’t make a big deal out of it, just mentions it in passing one time, but obviously many if not most of the professional musicians in the 30’s and 40’s were vipers at one point. We always heard Sinatra didn’t care for illegal drugs, but, in fact, that may not have been true when it came to marijuana. The rat pack spent a lot of time in the steam rooms, sweating out the booze they were drinking, but marijuana would also have provided some much needed hangover relief.
Of course, Sammy Davis was the weirdest member of that group. At the invitation of the creepy Lt. Col. Michael Aquino, Sammy received an honorary membership in Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan. Sammy was a freak at heart and loved having threesomes with a dude and a lady while imbibing enormous amounts of cocaine and watching porn. Sammy supposedly had the biggest porn collection in Hollywood. Sinatra tried to pull Sammy out of that scene when it was obvious Sammy was losing it.
According to Anka, the scene in Casino when they are bundling up the skim in the backroom is not entirely correct. All the cash was put into official wooden boxes and reported except the hundred dollar bills. The hundreds were divided between the families who’d invested in Vegas, and suitcases of hundred dollar bills were constantly being shipped back east.
I’m sure Anka knows more than he is revealing, but even so, the book is filled with revelations and I hope this gets turned into a movie soon. Anka comes across as a very smart dude who was there at the beginning of rock and roll. In fact, he was working with Buddy Holly when Holly died and Anka correctly identifies Holly as the most important influence on the British invasion, the man who almost single-handedly created the singer/songwriter/guitar player role model that swept through the culture a few years later. Chuck Berry was very influential too, but Chuck was an older dude, already in his 30s when the rock tidal wave crashed on the beach. In a way, Holly’s death and Berry’s incarceration opened the doors for the British invasion to walk though as they left such a tremendous void.
Anka and Bobby Darin were the two most talented dudes in their class, the last to come from the Brill Building, and it’s obvious Anka thinks Darin lost all dignity by joining the counterculture late in life. I disagree in that songs Darin wrote during this period were among his best and make great counterculture anthems today, especially Simple Song of Freedom. So I don’t think Darin lost his dignity, quite the contrary, I think he had a spiritual awakening, but like Ricky Nelson found out at Madison Square Garden, sometimes your audience thinks they’re in charge of your paradigm and they don’t want you to change, or at least they don’t follow you down that road.
I didn’t realize Anka was Lebanese, probably because his family is Christian, but he was Adnan Khashoggi’s favorite performer and there’s a lot of praise for that gun runner and Octopus bagman and very little on his criminal behaviors, but then the same goes for the Sicilian men of honor. Anka also goes into detail on the famous fight between Steve Wynn and Donald Trump.
But some of his most interesting revelations occur when Howard Hughes arrives in Vegas with the intent of buying up the state. Hughes did buy several casinos before he was mysteriously disappeared, but the men of honor? They were left in place. Hughes needed people to run his casinos, and they were simply the best people for that particular job.
I hate to keep picking on Oliver Stone since he’s got one of the few shows on TV worth watching. I mean, TV is a real wasteland these days. I sometimes find myself watching the BBC channel because nothing better is on. Even Chef Ramsey is better than most American TV shows and the BBC often has better movies than its American counterparts. But back to Stone. His series on American history has been fun to watch, even if there’s little in it that I didn’t know before. But it’s the parts being left out that really amaze me.
The best example so far is Stone’s retelling of the JFK assassination, a subject he covered in depth in a previous feature film, where the evidence of CIA involvement was marshaled. Even though that film was built around a great American hero, Judge Jim Garrison, the courageous judge is not even mentioned once in the series? Huh? Even more astounding, Stone never mentions any details of the plot. We know today that Johnny Roselli bragged to many people about being one of the shooters and was paid $50,000 by his boss Sam Giancana, although Giancana later told his brother the money came from the Texas oil crowd (Hunt, Murchison) via the CIA. Why does Stone back off the facts and not go after the CIA on JFK?
Even more mysterious is how Stone handles 9/11, backing up the fiction that Osama bin Laden was the mastermind behind the event. There’s so much evidence of a coverup in 9/11 it would take several books to cover all the mysteries, but none of the evidence even enters the picture as Stone buys into the fiction that the event took the Pentagon by surprise. Just detailing the Pentagon strike and how that plane did a curlicue in order to hit an office near the ground floor where financial corruption was being investigated, when that pilot could have much easier just made a direct hit on the offices of the Joint Chiefs, which was a straight-line target that didn’t involve any expert maneuvers.
But there are some really good things in the show. Like the detailing of the Bush family relationship with the Nazis. And the fact Standard Oil and other Rockefeller companies did business with the Nazis throughout the war, and sometimes even seemed to be giving them preferential treatment over the allies when it came to crucial war supplies. The German Luftwaffe depended on fuel made only by Standard Oil throughout the war.
The series has been fun to watch, but it also seems pretty rushed, like they wrote a voice-over script in a few days and then slapped a bunch of royalty-free video clips around it, and then stuck in some Hollywood movie clips to provide some color against the grainy black and white newsreels. But the series could have been a lot more informative had Stone just lifted a few more rocks. For example, he mentions the Trilateral Commission set-up by the Rockefellers, but never mentions their earlier and probably more important power center: The Council on Foreign Relations, where the center of energy on political power in America can often be found.
Readers of this blog may remember I turned against WikiLeaks as soon as I heard Julian Assange was refusing to even look for documents indicating pre-knowledge of 9/11. This certainly wasn’t because such documents don’t exist. In fact, many intelligence agencies sent warnings a major operation against the US was unfolding right before 9/11–just as some politicos may have been warned not to board airplanes that week. So why doesn’t WikiLeaks even want to look under those rocks? Fortunately, Daniel Estulin, who wrote the blockbuster book on Bilderberg, now has a book out titled, Deconstructing WikiLeaks. It’s a fast read and covers more than just the origins of WikiLeaks.
I was happy to see Estulin looked into Daniel Ellsberg as a prelude to investigating Assange. See, I always thought Ellsberg was a spy and not a true anti-war activist. Real whistleblowers get ignored, while fake whistleblowers end up on the cover of Time magazine. Ellsberg was an assistant to Henry Kissinger, and associate of Edward Landsdale, two of the most obvious Octopus players who have been orchestrating events behind the scenes for the oligarchy. He was a lifelong CIA operative who supposedly had a sudden change of heart and turned against the war and began leaking Rand Corporation studies and reports, a data dump that became known as “The Pentagon Papers” even though these papers had little to do with the Pentagon, and a lot to do with whitewashing the failure of the CIA to provide proper intel about the war and leading the country into a disaster. My theory is the CIA began fomenting many operations against President Richard Nixon shortly after he returned from a surprise visit to China. There’s even a rumor Nixon returned some of the stolen gold from WWII without CIA approval in order to buy his detente move. Turning America against the war could have been part of a CIA master plan to remove Nixon. Supposedly, Ellsberg transformed into an ardent anti-war activist partially through a chance encounter with Noam Chomsky, another possible Octopus operative who serves as a lightning rod for the left wing. I never trusted Chomsky after I heard his ridiculous views on the Kennedy assassination. I can’t believe educated people insist we don’t know the truth: the CIA hired the Chicago outfit to kill JFK, and the three shooters were paid $50,000 each, cash provided by the Texas oil cabal (Hunts and Murchison). These facts are known thanks to the Sicilian men-of-honor who spoke out (Roselli, Giancana) and the Cubans who worked under William Harvey on the CIA’s executive action program. Few from inside the government talked, and most of those that did ended up dead pretty quick.
In 1996, an architect named John Young created a free website for whistleblowers to release secret documents. The site is still around and has over 70,000 documents downloaded. The site is called “Cryptome” and I urge you to check it out. Ten years later, Assange announces his operation and even contacts Young to get him involved in the project. Two things bothered Young immediately: 1) Assange announced he needed to raise $5 million, an outrageous amount of money, way more than necessary to actually set-up and maintain the site, and 2) Assange was taking money from two well-known CIA fronts, Freedom House and the National Endowment for Democracy. Another thing that tipped Young off was Assange’s relentless rhetoric. Eventually, Young wrote a scathing critique of WikiLeaks claiming it was really a money making scam, which it is.
Another suspicious thing about both operations is the way Ellsberg and Assange usually ignore the 800 pound gorilla called illegal drugs, which have played such a vital role in our wars for the last sixty years. Since the illegal drug industry produces between a half a trillion to a trillion dollars per year in tax-free profits, these operations are vital to the stability of our banking system, which uses money-laundered cash from drugs to stay afloat. Yet you seldom find Ellsberg and Assange talking much about opium, even though capturing that monopoly was one of the primary reasons we went to war in both Vietnam and Afghanistan.
So if you’re still one of those people who believe Julian Assange is a “good guy,” please take a look at this just released expose. It might just open your mind to what’s really going on.
Not too long ago, an elaborate theory was put forth claiming the JFK assassination was a Masonic ritual. Much of this had to so with randomly selected numbers, like the parallel of Dallas and the dates involved, etc. I didn’t put much stock in the analysis, even though I certainly realize Freemasons are a big piece of the secret society power puzzle that’s been running the world, although their reach seems to have been eclipsed by others of late.
I was dubious simply because I was aware that once someone in the CIA contacted Sam “Mooney” Giancana in Chicago and offered the contract, JFK’s days were numbered. Certainly the radical right-wing friend of the Texas Hunt family, Joseph Milteer knew about the contract as soon as it went down and was even caught talking about it days later on an FBI wiretap. The FBI rookie agent in charge of investigating Milteer after the assassination has recently published a very revealing book of the coverup that went on inside the agency to make sure that inconvenient truth never ended up being investigated again. One thing for sure, it wasn’t being set-up around a Masonic code. It was being set-up by the Chicago outfit to happen whenever the conditions were favorable and they could get a clear shot.
Since J. Edgar Hoover was a devoted Freemason, and staffed the upper levels of the FBI almost exclusively with masons, and even held masonic ceremonies inside his building, you’d think the masonic magic connections to the assassination would be well-grounded. The reality, however, is that once the contract was accepted, hit teams were assembled in a variety of cities (Giancana said seven in all), and JFK was being tracked everywhere he went. The hit could have taken place in almost any city on almost any day where Kennedy happened to be exposed.
So I took the ritual magic conspiracy stories involving the JFK assassination with a grain of salt, and can’t help but notice these sorts of stories are suddenly amplifying immensely. And if they aren’t blaming the grandmaster of masonic magic, Albert Pike, then the theories point to Aleister Crowley, the grandmaster of Satanism.
There’s all types of magic and all types of ritual and ceremony. Energy comes in flavors, especially telepathic energies. It moves through us naturally, and manifests ceremony and ritual whether you realize it or not. Science isn’t really interested in these energies, so little is known for sure. The real science in this area took off with the Nazi’s and then was imported secretly into the CIA. The global situation is just a big game for generating profit, you see, and the players are orchestrated into position and led into conflicts that can be mined. The CIA and Foundations have spent billions studying mind control technology and mass propaganda techniques, the results of which are in constant daily use by the global corporations as they build brands while hiding secret monopolies. But most people only think of two kinds of magic: peace magic and dark magic.
Peace magic is about elevating love vibrations. Love is non-violent and never seeks control. Dark magic, on the other hand, is about bending others to your will. One is about respecting the tribe, the other about making the tribe respect you. Gandhi and his followers like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are peace shamans who have become so iconic they raise to messiah status, just like Jesus or Socrates. At that point, however, they have actually attained more control than any dark magician could ever hope for with his rituals of terror and violence. So the dark shaman slays the peace messiah. It’s a pattern that keeps unfolding almost every generation. And it will not end until we can protect our peace messiahs while exposing the dark magicians among us.
Since WWII, using billions in resources, the Nazi art of dark magic has reached new dimensions and new heights of effectiveness, which is why when a 9/11 dark magic theory revolves around Aleister Crowley, I tend to view it about the same as those initial dark magic masonic stories around JFK. I believe we have a serious rabbit hole going on here, a blatant attempt to move the center of energy on conspiracy research away from empirical fact and into the realm where any detail can be manipulated and morphed into a sigil. It’s all about connecting dots that don’t really connect. These theories are a red cape being waved by a hidden bullfighter.
For example: one of the most important elements of this theory is that President Bush read a children’s book about a pet goat during 9/11. The goat symbolizes Satan and is a psychological lever. Well, perhaps that’s true, or perhaps Bush introduced this detail as a rabbit hole in the first place. Every detail of the event can be staged, just as every random coincidence can become a deflection away from the truth.
Marilyn Monroe was murdered. She did not take an “overdose of sleeping pills” as her stomach was virtually empty. She did have multiple bruises that were erased from the autopsy report, and her body showed evidence of having been given an enema, which may be how the barbiturates that killed her were administered although some believe the final coup d’etat may have been delivered via syringe by her analyst Dr. Ralph Greenson, who was having an affair with her, a serious breach of professional ethics. Greenson is the man who discovered and reported her dead.
Perhaps the key detail in understanding this case is that her death occurred within days of her friend Dorothy Kilgallen leaking info about Monroe’s affair with JFK in her widely-circulated gossip column. Although neighbors reported hearing quite a row that night, all this would be swept under the rug, along with an emergency visit from Robert Kennedy. There’s also a report of a possible intervention with Sam Giancana shortly before her death, both incidents of which might have indicated last-ditch efforts to save her life.
It all happened 54 years ago, so it’s about time the real facts come out, but don’t hold your breath. In the world of archetypes, icons just don’t get any bigger than Marilyn. She remains the sexiest woman alive and her personality seemed charmingly devoid of evil intent, so why would anyone want to kill Marilyn Monore?
Most of what I know about this case I picked up from Jim Hougan, one of my favorite conspiracy writers, who always maintains a great sense of humor, unlike many people in this field. Many years ago, Hougan published a brilliant book, Spooks, that went into detail on characters like Robert Vesco, Mitch WerBell, Robert Maheu, the sort of guys who dance between raindrops. But Hougan also connected some dots on the Kennedy-Teamster confrontation, a war Marilyn seems to have gotten caught in the middle of, which may be why she ended up dead.
The story starts in 1955. Senator John McClellan’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations nails its number-one target, Teamster boss Dave Beck, thanks to Beck’s assistant Jimmy Hoffa, secretly assisting Robert Kennedy with the incriminating evidence of Beck’s pension diversion schemes. JFK sat on the committee and RFK was the committee’s lawyer. Hoffa became the new leader of the country’s most powerful union. Soon, however, Robert Kennedy starts building a case against Hoffa and this becomes the most intense vendetta of his life. Papa Kennedy had earlier maneuvered his son onto the staff of Communist witch-hunter Joe McCarthy, a man RFK seems to have (strangely enough) held a lot of respect for. It was while working closely with McCarthy and Roy Cohn that RFK cut his political teeth and mastered the art of dirty tricks.
Many people make the mistake of thinking Kennedy “went after the mob.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Robert Kennedy went after Jimmy Hoffa, while others in the administration maintained friendly contact with Sam Giancana and Johnny Roselli, even to the point of requesting their services in the elimination of Fidel Castro.
RFK’s assault wasn’t nicknamed the “Get Hoffa Squad” for no reason. At one time, Kennedy had 40 grand juries all investigating different aspects of Hoffa’s life. Eventually Hoffa was brought down simply through defensive measures he initiated to fight against dirty tricks RFK was playing on him, which included planting government informants all around him and turning Hoffa’s own secret agents into well-greased doubles under RKF control.
Bernard Spindel is the key character in the Monroe mystery, a surveillance expert who worked for Hoffa, a person RFK attempted to double early on, telling him to set any price. “Now, Bernie, you know my brother is going to be the next President. You don’t have to worry about anything,” RFK is reported to have said. Bernie worked for anyone who paid him and, in his own words,”never asked for a pedigree,” but he refused to work for any government agency and he refused to break any laws. He pioneered all sorts of strategies for circumventing the laws against wiretapping, even to the point of using lip readers to decipher films he shot, rather than use the available audio track.
Spindel didn’t double, however. He took the 5th Amendment when called to testify. So the Spindel home in upstate New York was raided by the police and Spindel led away in handcuffs. Meanwhile, his extensive library of recordings disappeared into government hands, never to be seen again. Spindel would become so famous that he once appeared on “What’s My Line?” He was murdered eventually, although I can’t find much information on his death.
Spindel’s widow, Barbara, believes the seized tapes included conversations between Marilyn and the Kennedy brothers that contained proof of Monroe’s secret affair with JFK. These tapes could have destroyed his political future. Who ordered the tapes, who knew about them and who had copies?
Shortly before he disappeared, Jimmy Hoffa indicated he had evidence that could have been used to destroy the Kennedy’s but he chose not to use it against them due to its “unseemly” nature. Obviously, he was talking about sexual exploits, but was he talking about the Marilyn tapes?
The Hoffa/Kennedy War got as nasty as it gets, and Marilyn seems to have been caught in the middle. Did she consent to allow her conversations to be taped (which would have made the wiretapes legal), something that would have infuriated the Kennedy brothers? Or did Spindel’s surveillance include RFK’s midnight intervention? Was Marilyn really threatening to reveal her affair with JFK to the press? I find this last speculation, although popular on the internet, hard to swallow. I’m sure Marilyn had more than one extramarital affair in her life. But when you read Arthur Miller’s accounts with his wife, you begin to understand Marilyn was probably bipolar, which meant she was subject to manic mood swings and had great difficulty sleeping. No one could depend on her keeping quiet and she apparently wasn’t.
Most online theories point to a mafia-related hit, although that always seemed somewhat dubious since the Sicilian Men of Honor do not typically kill civilians or women, although they seek vengeance when they feel it’s justified. But the biggest mafiosos in the country were very close friends with Marilyn and she was an important member of their Hollywood Union, supervised by Roselli. According to “Double Cross” by Chuck Giancana, the hit was actually put out by the CIA and accepted by Mooney Giancana, who wanted to implicate Robert Kennedy, so they killed Marilyn immediately after a visit from RFK and Greenson, who only gave her a mild sedative. After she was asleep, they broke into the house and administered a fatal enema. Needles Gianola was in charge of the hit squad. The reason for the hit? Marilyn was talking too much about the mob/CIA relationship and threatening to “tell all to the press.” I’m not sure I buy that version, and there’s a competing theory that Greenson was being blackmailed by someone in the Kennedy circle.
In 2009, an FBI document appeared, a report from some unnamed agent and none of this could ever be authenticated, but it stated RFK made a call to Peter Lawford asking, “Is she dead yet?” The report went on to state Monroe was murdered in retaliation to threats she had just made to reveal her JFK affair to the press. Someday, those Monroe/Kennedy tapes just might surface, in which case we might clear some of the mud from these waters and learn more of the true subtext behind the murder of one of the greatest movie stars in history. Marilyn’s inside knowledge of government and mafia affairs was considerable and eventually she may have become targeted as a threat to National Security, undoubtedly the same crime JFK died for a few years later.
