More important, would anyone buy it? Abakus is deep into the politics behind the wilderness of mirrors, as well as advancements in peer-to-peer technologies, alternative energy, spiritual advancements, and enlightenment. It is also the best stoner guide to one of the most magical towns in the universe, Aspen, Colorado.

We began with a tribute to Dr. Hunter S. Thompson, one of the greatest literary icons of the counterculture. Jeff Wood, one of my favorite artists, created an outstanding cover for our debut issue. You can buy a digital copy or the print version at, and you can reserve tickets to the Abakus Flower Cup in December and the Munchie Cup in May.

Sure hope to see you at an Abakus event soon!
